Required Skills & Experience
- Must be able to communicate with multi-disciplinary offshore teams (e.g., inspectors, construction crews, OIMs)
- 5-15 years of experience in integrity management of oil & gas structures
- Proficient in fitness-for-service evaluations of structural damage including hand calculations and global model checks to relevant codes
- Able to self-manage offshore mobilizations and scope execution with experience as lead during offshore mobilizations
- Able to travel to offshore facilities as required for finding related follow-ups (estimated at max 1 trip per quarter for short durations)
- Able to employ emerging technologies for IM program innovation
Job Description
An Offshore Operator is looking for an Inspection Coordinator to join their Structural Integrity team. This role will work a hybrid (Tues-Thurs in office, Mon & Fri remote) 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off). This position will oversee the identification, tracking, and repair recommendations for three (3) facilities. This will require regular communications and meetings with offshore operations and mechanical integrity personnel.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspection Plan or Work Pack Development
- Findings Review and Post-Processing (includes emergent issues)
- Follow-Up Inspection Development and Management
- Model Development/Assessment of Inspection Results (Fitness for Service Checks)
- Mitigation and/or Repair Recommendation(s)
- Generating Notifications/Workorders for execution of work
- Mitigation Tracking and Updates
- Manage findings scope, repair schedule and annual budget of multiple facilities
- Contract and review the work of sub-contractors as company technical reviewer
- Travel offsite as required to liaise with Inspection and Ops personnel
- Follow company safety standards, engineering processes and quality procedures
Salary : $70 - $90
