What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Learning Research Engineer position at Insight Global?
An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Machine Learning Research Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following : Will utilize machine learning to understand process datasets to conduct statistical analysis on business processes using machine learning techniques to deliver a solution to the government customer. This problem solving will contribute to mission critical research and development type of work by analyzing and developing electronic warfare algorithms and technologies. Will be required to obtain a DoD Security clearance and required to sit on site 3 days / week.

Masters Degree or PhD
Experience with Electronic Warfare
Active DoD Security clearance
Knowledge of Signal Processing or Radar / Communication Systems
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (Secret)
4 years of experience in statistical and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and R
Experience with developing data models, quantitative analysis, and visualizations of data sources.
Knowledge of statistical pattern recognition, AI / ML, or natural language processing.
Bachelors degree (STEM or relevant field)
