- 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM)
- SOFT SKILLS A MUST -- willing to teach some things as long as they have a good attitude. Will be working with children, nurses, doctors etc.
- Punctuality & reliability are KEY!
- Food service manufacturing exp has success in this role
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of experience within MEP maintenance, specifically within a healthcare setting (familiar with working on sinks, faucets, boilers, doors, window latches, and locks)
- Experience with electrical repairs to wiring, electrical fixtures, motors, controls, and appliances
- Experience with operating building automation controls systems
- Experience documenting all work through logs
- Strong soft skills. Will be working in the same environment as patients, doctors, parents, and nurses.
Plusses but not required:
- Any maintenance professional certifications/licensure (CMRT, CMRP, Journeyman, HVAC, CIMM)
- Previous experience with work order/ticketing systems
Day to day:
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our client onsite in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate has previous experience doing preventative maintenance work within a healthcare facility. Day to day, the mechanic can expect to travel to each mechanical room to perform regular checks to ensure machines are running up to code, as well as servicing regular work order tickets as they come in. With a knowledge in all relevant mechanical and electrical systems, the mechanic is responsible for being privy to work that may not be on a ticket or part of a preventative check.
