Insight Global is seeking an experience Perception Engineer to join our client's innovative team in Fort Smith, AR!
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or Related
- 4 or more year's of experience writing production level code in C /Python
- 2 or more year's of experience in a Robotics Engineering role
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead large-scale technical projects
- Demonstrated ability to work with large scale vision-based datasets
- Experience with autonomous mobile robots, ROS2, Docker and version tracking tools
Responsibilities:
- Architect full-stack vision solutions.
- Investigate novel computer vision approaches to optimize — or reimagine — the performance of our vision systems.
- Leverage vast amounts of real-world video and other sensor data for data mining, curation, labeling, training, and evaluation.
- Lead efforts to enhance computer vision training sets.
- Refine and optimize models for low latency on embedded hardware.
- Develop and optimize GPU-accelerated applications.
- Implement models, data pipelines, and active learning in real-world use cases driven by customer demands.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, contributing to the development of their skills.
- Help build an effective AI team by establishing best practices, fostering an inclusive culture, and advocating for positive change.
- Apply Agile development methodologies and Continuous Integration (CI) principles in software development and maintenance.
- Develop and document system requirements, and allocate and decompose them into components.
- Engage with senior leadership and external customers to provide updates, seek guidance, deliver presentations, address challenges, and showcase project results.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Compensation:
$75/hr to $90/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
