What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Executive position at Insight Global?
The Project Executive provides overall leadership and direction on the construction project. Typically, the Project Executive is responsible for negotiating the Owner contract, is the main contact for the Project Manager for issues concerning budget, billing and client satisfaction, and ensures the fiscal success of the project.
- Leads overall project strategy, execution, and delivery of complex data center builds from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout
- Aligns cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, procurement, and construction—to meet client objectives on schedule and budget
- Oversees cost control measures, value engineering processes, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and minimize project risks
- Facilitates timely decision-making across stakeholders and manages high-level communications with clients, consultants, and internal leadership
- Champions site safety culture and compliance with industry codes, environmental standards, and local regulations
- Resolves critical path issues and coordinates with contractors and vendors to maintain momentum across multiple phases of construction
- Evaluates performance metrics and drives continuous improvement through lessons-learned reviews and operational feedback
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10-15 years of construction management experience for a large-scale general contractor
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
