Title : Server Administrator

Duration : Permanent, Full-time

Location :  Collierville, TN 38017 – ONSITE Monday – Friday

Salary : $80-95k

Job Description

  • A Client / Employer in Collierville, TN is looking to hire a full-time Server Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's Linux, Windows, and VMware environments. The server administrator will be responsible for server management, system maintenance, security, troubleshooting, and automation and optimization for their server systems. This individual will need to have a strong understanding of networking concepts, ability to troubleshoot complex server issues and contribute to the overall IT infrastructure strategy.

Must Haves

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Server Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)
  • Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, VLANs, etc.)
  • Prior experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

    • Preferred :

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Windows Server, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Experience with automation tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms

    • Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
