Sharepoint Specialist

Location: Hybrid 3x per week in Tampa

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience managing SharePoint migration projects (including hybrid environments)
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, Microsoft 365, and related technologies (Power Platform, OneDrive, Teams)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with governance and compliance standards relevant to document management
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Sharegate, Metalogix, or similar

Plusses:

• PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certifications

Job Description:

We're seeking a strategic and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead our migration from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online. This is a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey, requiring deep technical understanding of SharePoint environments, exceptional project leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders. Duties include the below:

• Develop and execute a detailed migration roadmap from SharePoint On-Prem to SharePoint Online
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with business units to assess existing SharePoint usage, identify pain points, and define success criteria
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security throughout the migration
• Manage risks, issues, and changes proactively
• Partner with vendors, internal developers, and system admins for seamless implementation
• Conduct user training and change management initiatives to support adoption
• Monitor post-migration performance and optimize SharePoint Online environment
