Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
A large healthcare system local to south jersey is looking to add a Surgical Scheduler to their Digestive Health Institute which is aimed at providing the latest diagnostic procedures and treatment options for patients with disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach etc. On a day to day basis responsibilities will follow, but not limited to;
- Proactively call patients to confirm appointment info, pre admission testing. prior auths etc
- Communicate with providers proactively regarding patients schedules, days & weeks in advance
- Work within Epic and Op-time to schedule and reschedule patients appointments
