Position: System Administrator I
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80916
Work Schedule: On-Site: M-F (Potential for on-call: 1 week on, 1 week off)
PR: $34/hr
Interview: 1-2 rounds depending on candidate. 30 minutes in-person.
Must Haves:
- 1-6 years IT support experience
- CompTIA Security , or (ISC)2’s Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or an industry approved security certification.
- Exp with the full Microsoft Suite
- Exp in virtual machine cloud environment
- Strong understanding of physical and mechanical systems, networks, and servers (mechanical mindset)
- Willingness to work with hand tools to repair physical hardware
- Exp supporting and communicating with end users and customers
Summary:
- Install, maintain, and monitor the operations of the Airport's IT systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnosis, and resolve hardware and software related problems.
- In this position, you will be responsible for maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of the airport’s key enterprise applications and systems as well as general application administration and migration. You will work with interdepartmental resources, 114 end users, and aprox. 570 devices to coordinate and execute the implementation, expansion, configuration, interfacing, and maintenance of applications to meet the airport’s business needs. This role requires you to work hands on with physical components and requires knowledge of physical and mechanical practices.
