Traveling IT Configuration Technician

Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Junior IT Configuration Consultant for a fully traveling, one-year ongoing contract role supporting a large-scale infrastructure initiative for $27-$40 an hour. This consultant will be responsible for executing configuration tasks across approximately 108 sites, spanning the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. The role offers the opportunity for contract extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site IT configuration tasks across multiple international locations.
• Support infrastructure setup, system integration, and configuration validation.
• Collaborate with local and remote teams to ensure consistency and compliance with global standards.
• Document configuration processes and site-specific adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues in real time.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in IT configuration or related technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components and configuration protocols.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including internationally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills a plus.
