Skillset / Experience:
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze automated test results.
- Identify whether issues are related to test code or product code.
- File comprehensive bug reports for developers.
- Perform manual testing, including complex command-line operations on UNIX systems.
- Follow run books to ensure accurate execution and response verification.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose issues independently and systematically.
- Strong debugging skills
- Experience with embedded hardware and software testing.
- Hands-on experience with embedded hardware.
- Basic coding skills to differentiate between test and product code.
- Proficiency in UNIX commands and terminal operations.
- Strong analytical skills to provide developers with detailed, relevant bug information.
- Background in embedded systems.
- Ability to independently flash hardware and diagnose intermittent failures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues without immediate developer intervention.
