Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Network Engineer to support a large-scale Cloud Migration initiative. These individuals will be responsible for the design, build, and implementation of network solutions within a newly created cloud environment, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across hybrid infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable network architectures in AWS/Azure environments.
- Lead the setup of VPCs, subnets, routing, transit gateways, and VPN/Direct Connect solutions.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement network segmentation, firewall policies, and traffic inspection.
- Troubleshoot complex networking issues across cloud and on-premises systems.
- Optimize network performance, monitoring, and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Support tool rationalization efforts tied to network monitoring and management.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and corporate governance.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of network engineering experience, including 3 years in cloud networking.
- Deep expertise in AWS (VPC, TGW, NACLs, Direct Connect) and/or Azure equivalents.
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with network security technologies (NGFWs, WAFs, IDS/IPS).
- Strong understanding of BGP, IPsec VPNs, DNS, and load balancing.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Networking) preferred.
