Sales Clerk
Pay Rate / Range : $15.00
Hours : Shifts would be : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM OR 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM
Location : Montgomery, AL
Duration : 3 months
Maintain an atmosphere of superior customer service focusing on the company s mandate : great food, great food people and making it easy for our customers.
Ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage. Work with customers to ensure that they find the products they need and are made aware of all the other services available to them in the store and through the company.
Performs sales and cash functions in the Point of Sale (POS) in an efficient and accurate manner. This includes scanning merchandise, using a held-held scanning gun or, as necessary, the 10 key pad.
Ensures that each item s barcode is accurately reflected in the system.
May assist in receive inventory shipments, and maintain and stock shelves in a neat and orderly fashion while also ensuring proper rotation and product quality audits
Assist with food demonstrations including preparation and set-up of the demo cart / display, distribution of samples of product as per the merchandising program and perform suggestive selling.
Education / Training : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Shifts would be : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM OR 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM
