Intake Breathing
Santa Barbara, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 8/5/2025 CLOSED ON 9/4/2025

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Partnerships Specialist position at Intake Breathing?

About the Role

The Strategic Partnerships Specialist is a critical driver in Intake Breathing’s B2B growth engine, responsible for prospecting new partners, managing a healthy pipeline, and ensuring existing partners succeed and grow. This hybrid role combines outbound prospecting, account management, and customer success to generate revenue, expand adoption, and maintain strong sell-through across dental, medical, spa, and hospitality verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Pipeline Generation: Proactively prospect new high-fit dental offices, medical practices, and spa/hospitality clients to establish a steady flow of partnership opportunities.
  •  Account Management: Own a book of active partner accounts from onboarding through post-sale support, ensuring every partner launches successfully and stays engaged.
  • Revenue Expansion: Drive reorders, upsells, and repeat business across retail, affiliate, and consignee programs.
  • Sell-Through Support: Coordinate fitment training, staff education, and usage of promotional materials (posters, window clings, displays).
  •  Refill Tracking: Actively track partner sell-through and planned refill cycles, identifying gaps and creating clear action plans to ensure accounts consistently order.
  •  Program Compliance: Hold partners accountable for meeting program requirements (e.g., installing marketing materials, staff training) to ensure gatekeeping of free products and wholesale credits.
  • Reporting & Progress: Monitor partner activity and pipeline health, tracking performance against planned goals and refill targets.
  •  Collaboration: Work closely with Strategic Partnerships leadership to identify high-value opportunities, resolve barriers, and share insights to strengthen messaging and vertical strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in partnerships, sales, or customer success, ideally in B2B, wellness, or healthcare.
  • You’re a hunter and a grower: comfortable with cold outreach, follow-ups, and managing warm relationships long-term.
  • Exceptionally organized, you manage dozens of accounts and keep all the plates spinning.
  • Strong communicator: clear, direct, and professional with partners; confident in holding others accountable to perform.
  • Naturally curious, you understand how your actions impact the bottom line and love to connect the dots for growth.
