Company Description
Integrated Dermatology, which is one of the nation’s largest providers of dermatology services, has an opportunity for a Dermatopathologist / Dermatologist in our Four Seasons practice. We are seeking a Dermatology trained BE/BC Dermatopathologist.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, although current dermatopathology fellows are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time position, 4 days per week; 3 days per week general dermatology and 1 day per week dermatopathology (8 - 10 hours)
Job Description
- Provide accurate and timely diagnosis of the presence and stage of disease from a tissue specimen, utilizing appropriate laboratory procedures. Confers with other physicians as needed.
- Takes the initiative to improve quality in the work place.
- Provides advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information concerning patients, physicians, employees, clients, vendors, and the Company.
- Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as department rules, polices, and procedural manuals.
Qualifications
- 2 years of post-residency experience (Preferred)
- M.D. Degree (Required)
- Board Certified in Dermatopathology (Required)
