Job Title: Case Manager (Patient Support)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 2–3 Months
Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr. on W2
Shift: Mon–Fri, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Job Summary:
The Case Manager supports patients with chronic illnesses by coordinating care, navigating insurance processes, and ensuring timely access to therapies. This role involves direct communication with patients, providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies to manage benefit investigations, approvals, and appeals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage care coordination and patient support within assigned territory
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurers, and specialty pharmacies
- Assist with insurance approvals, appeals, and copay/patient assistance programs
- Educate patients and providers on insurance, access, and treatment requirements
- Maintain accurate case data and documentation
- Recommend and support process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare, Social Work, or Nursing preferred)
- 3 years of experience in case or care management
- Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance, reimbursement, and regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
