What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning Coordinator position at IntentGen Financial Partners?
The Planning Coordinator provides substantial support to the IntentGen team and its clients throughout all aspects of the financial planning process. This position serves as a resource to Advisors and clients by anticipating the needs of both parties. The role of Planning Coordinator helps the Advisor keep the firm’s commitments to our clients by organizing data, preparing financial plans, analyzing models and projections, and helping execute strategies laid out in client meetings. As a part of the IntentGen team, this position also allows for participation in seminars, workshops, client events and volunteer events.
Responsibilities

- Forms personal, trusted relationships with Clients and Advisors to deepen client engagement and enhance overall client experience
- Communicates proactively and reactively with Advisors and clients through clear, concise, professional communication that is personalized and prompt
- Understands and helps to uncover product solution strategies for clients and develop business for the firm
- Prepares financial plans, illustrations, investor statements, and financial planning meeting agendas
- Monitors various trackers, prepare various reports and input data
- Onboards new financial planning clients
- Creates financial and investment models and projections and prepare the necessary documents to support the analysis
- Works with team members to create timely and compliant deliverables
- Relays recommendations to address client needs as it relates to cash flow, money distribution and investment allocations
- Performs research on and executes managed account strategy
- Works in a team environment and demonstrate ability to build, develop and cultivate relationships
- Actively engages in weekly team meetings and events
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with licensure and business needs
Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study (i.e.: financial planning, finance, business, etc.)
- Must be securities registered (Series 7 & 66 or equivalent) or be willing to obtain after hire
- Must have IL Life & Health Insurance license or be willing to obtain after hire
- Knowledge of Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2 years preferred
- Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro) desired
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
