Graphic Designer

IntePros is looking for Graphic Designer with an emphasis on Packaging for our client located in Boulder, CO. This is a long-term contract opportunity.

This is a hybrid role - candidates must be able to go onsite in Boulder 3 days per week.

• Strong Desktop Publishing/Production/Packaging Focused Designer
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Technical Background in Adobe Creative App (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) on a Mac
  
  

Responsible for designing and creating instructions for use documents, packaging and product artwork for supporting the manufacturing requirements for all products produced by the product group. Must incorporate customer requirements and ensure standardization of artwork development in compliance with design standards.

Key Responsibilities Are

• Responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging and product artwork, including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; support for formal artwork approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures.
• Verifies vendor proofs, makes corrections, or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files.
• Effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities in order to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborates with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues that arise during the artwork development process.
  
  

Qualifications

• BS Degree is REQUIRED
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of label printing applications.
• Proficient with design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in using MAC Operating Systems
• Ability to work with department peers and middle-management within the marketing, engineering, and manufacturing functional groups.
