Direct Support Professional DSP

Interim Healthcare Services of NEPA is looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals DSPs to care for individuals with physical and mental disabilities in a group home setting. Must be willing to work in multiple locations!

Job Details for the Direct Support Professional DSP include, but are not limited to:

• PRN; with opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week
• Up to $18 per hour; majority of cases paying $16 - $17 per hour.
• Shifts 24/7
  • M-F 2p-12p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 11p-9a
  • Weekends 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 2p-12a, 10p-8a, 11p-7a, 11p-9a
• Assignments Locations (Pennsylvania): Scranton, Taylor, Throop, Dickson City, Elmhurst, Carbondale, Dunmore, Old Forge, Clarks Summit, Tunkhannock, Falls, Nicholson, Hughestown, Pittston, and Larksville.
• Interim Staffing Benefits: Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit, Health Insurance for those maintaining 32 hours weekly, accrued PTO, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses.

The Direct Support Professional DSP provides personal care and incidental activities of daily living as assigned to clients in the Group home setting in accordance with applicable law and regulations, and Customer’s policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements for the Direct Support Professional (DSP):

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Must have six (6) months experience in a personal care, group home, or nursing home setting.
• CPR and First Aide Certification; required
• Driver's License in the State of PA and reliable form of transportation; required
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screenings; which include drug testing, criminal background and fbi checks, physical, and ppd.
