Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join their esteemed group in Houston. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on data protection and privacy, technology transactions, public and private offerings, capital markets, lending transactions, and executive compensation issues.
- Advise on corporate governance, ESG investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, tax, and related services.
- Assist clients with strategic business planning, entity formation, and domestic and global commercial transactions.
- Offer guidance on tax planning considerations, including executive compensation, recapitalization, benefit plans, and state and local taxes.
- Protect and promote clients' trademarks, inventions, and other intellectual property both domestically and internationally.
- Manage clients' real estate investments, including developments, single asset and portfolio sales and acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Extensive experience in corporate law, with a strong background in any of the following areas: mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, tax, executive compensation, data protection and privacy, or technology transactions.
- Proven track record of managing complex legal transactions and providing strategic legal counsel to business clients.
- Strong client relationship management skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
