About Us: International Student Exchange is a leading non-profit organization founded in 1982 that sponsors approximately 2,500 high school exchange students annually. We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated individuals with strong community ties and excellent communication skills to join our team as Area Representatives.
Your Role:
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools and families
- Recruit and screen volunteer host families
- Match high school exchange students with host families for a successful placement
- Provide ongoing support and supervision throughout the exchange year
What We’re Looking For:
- Aged 25 or older with solid people skills
- Previous or current experience working with teens
- Ability to set your own goals and manage flexible hours
- Access to a computer and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel within a 120-mile radius (as needed)
- Passion for working with international students and fostering cross-cultural connections
- Ability to pass a background check
