Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Service Representative (Metal Deco Ink) to work with us. This person will report to the Laboratory Manager for performance of assigned functions, and coordinates with branch Inplant Technicians as needed. The person in this role will be required to travel domestically up to 50% annually. As a Tech Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Performing Technical Service in local Lab and at customer locations
- Performing color matches for customer requests
- Manufacturing and QC of batches when on-site at customer locations
- Inventory management and record-keeping locally and at customer locations
- Housekeeping, purchasing and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to pass a color vision test
- Have the ability and willingness to travel as needed with short notice at times
- Be able to match colors effectively and meet customer deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and effectively communicate with peers and customers
- Effectively communicate with peers and customers
- Have excellent written, reading comprehension and basic math skills
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school
- Previous ink inplant experience
- SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
- 3-5 years in the ink industry and/or experience in commercial printing
