The Kenly 95 Petro Truckstop is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team! We are looking for a very positive, do-it-all type of person to fill this position. This individual will be responsible for keeping the facility clean, safe and in good repair.
Shift available: Days from 8AM - 5PM with some rotated weekends

Starting Pay $14/Hour

The Kenly 95 Petro Truckstop is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team! We are looking for a very positive, do-it-all type of person to fill this position. This individual will be responsible for keeping the facility clean, safe and in good repair.

Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills including the ability to work with all types of people
- Sense of urgency at work and commitment to keeping building and grounds in tip-top condition
- Must always be committed to working safely and encourage others to follow procedures
- Ability to work hands on alongside other staff and independently
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Work outside for an extended amount of time regardless of the weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and can operate equipment such as lawn mower, floor sweeper, golf cart
- Plowing and shoveling snow during winter conditions
- Power washing and painting outdoors
- Heavy equipment operation
- Picking up and dumping trash
- Mowing and weed eating
- Cleaning diesel and gas islands, driveways, and sidewalks
- Landscaping, fertilizing lawn, and spraying pesticides, herbicides
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment
