IRIS Enterprise business unit is seeking a Account Manager to join its growing organization and manage overall relationships. Key Successful candidates will have opportunities managing existing clients in Life Sciences vertical (encompassing Bio Pharma, Medical Devices and Pharma companies) domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Establish and grow relationships within Iris’s strategic accounts at the business owner and
C- Suite levels by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the customer’s business and
Iris' service offerings.
Assists Iris’s customers of dynamic industry trends and requirementsCustomize industry prevalent engagement models to suit client requirements anddeliver engagements on a multi-year roadmap. These include staff augmentation,
managed capacity, managed services and business / IT outcome-based models
Identify and qualify upsell opportunities to expand Iris footprintCreates opportunities to engage with client stakeholders in domain and technologyspecific dialogue to promote IRIS’s business interests and image as a thought leader
Experience in being a “Hands On” Primary Account Engagement Owner with both breadthand depth knowledge. Success in driving client engagement as a single point of
contact. Successful experience in understanding customers’ business strategies and
technical roadmaps and drive alignment between strategic investments and solution roadmaps
Successful experience in building relationships at all levels within customer organizationBuild account plans and maintain and exceed account targets, communicateaccount strategies, project pipeline and client strategic direction to internal stakeholders
Engineer deals and run the sales cycle by guiding the presales / delivery teamsPrepare sales proposals, drive detailed estimates and handle escalations and negotiatewith customers, as required
Provide a single escalation point for all delivery issues from the team, client stakeholdersand Iris stakeholders
Understands all aspects of Account Management, including but not limited toforecasting, account planning, account governance, growth etc.
Required Skills and Experience
10-15 year’s enterprise consulting delivery and sales and / or executive account managementwith proven client relationship skills at the highest levels within customer organizations.
Understands the nuances between professional services and project based businessAn expert in the offshore onsite modelProven revenue attainment history in selling enterprise software services solutionsBackground and acumen to understand client’s business, strategy and to keep upwith regulatory imperatives
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to make effective presentationsAbility to perform the role of a leader and acts as “trusted” advisorAbility to work efficiently across multi-disciplinary teams with competing prioritiesOrganized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver who is able to identify anddefine appropriate objectives and work independently toward achieving those objectives.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferredExcellent presentation and communication skills. Can demonstrate storytelling capabilitiesMarket savvy with well-developed negotiating and closing skillsMust have serviced Life Sciences industry customers for 5 years; Experience in Life Sciences Industry preferredPersonnel's having valid H1B visa will be preferred.
