For more information about Iron Mechanical and our projects, please visit www.ironmechanical.com.The Class C Driver will operate non-CDL commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites.The applicant will be driving in and around Sacramento, as well as the Bay Area and surrounding areas.Job DutiesOperate Class C vehicles (non-CDL) in compliance with all state and local traffic lawsTransport mechanical materials, tools, and fabrications to construction job sitesPerform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issuesAssist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other lifting equipment as neededEnsure all loads are properly secured and safely transportedFollow job site safety requirements and coordinate with site personnel during deliveriesProvide professional customer service to internal teams and external contactsMaintain basic delivery records and documentation as requiredAssist with light warehouse duties when not actively drivingRequirementsValid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving recordMinimum 3 years of commercial driving experienceAbility to safely operate light- to medium-duty commercial vehiclesForklift experience preferred (certification a plus)Strong awareness of safety procedures and job site protocolsReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedCompany DescriptionWe are a design/build mechanical contractor specializing in the design and construction of mechanical and plumbing systems for large commercial, high-rise, and multifamily buildings.
