HVAC Journeymen - New Construction

We are seeking skilled and reliable HVAC Journeymen to join our new construction team. This role focuses on the installation, layout, and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial new-build projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, can read and interpret plans, works efficiently on job sites, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship. ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC systems in new construction projects according to plans, specifications, and local codesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawingsInstall ductwork, piping, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and related componentsEnsure proper system layout, airflow, and equipment placementCoordinate with general contractors, supervisors, and other trades on-sitePerform pressure testing, start-ups, and system commissioningIdentify and resolve installation issues or conflicts in the fieldMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentComply with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policiesAccurately complete job documentation and reports as required Requirements3–5 years of HVAC experience, with a strong focus on new constructionSolid understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practicesAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of local mechanical codes and regulationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseEPA Certification (preferred or required, depending on role)Company DescriptionWe are a design/build mechanical contractor specializing in the design and construction of mechanical and plumbing systems for large commercial, high-rise, and multifamily buildings.
