• Develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability
• Assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program
• Work with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro)
• Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments
• Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software
• Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers
• Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies
• Develops and recommends corrective actions
• May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in the Computer Science field, or equivalent experience (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT)
• Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
• Scripting skills in languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Experience with automation
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
• Experience with Nexus
• Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
• Understanding of HP server configuration
• CompTIA Security (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
