We're looking for an experiencedDevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As aDevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery. Additionally, I ensure that development and software continuous delivery and integrations uses security best practices throughout the process. I ensure capabilities deployed meet security requirements and test. Works with cloud deployment activities to ensure configurations meet STIG or DOD required security standards.

What we are looking for:

• Three plus years of relevant hands-on experience
• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
• Good grasp of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
• Networking experience
• Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
• Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
• Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Java, Node.js, Terraform Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
• Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
• Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
• Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
• Able to obtain a Security certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field

Highly preferred:

• Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
• Basic experience with Big Data
• Multilingual programming abilities
• Knowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLang

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret security clearance

Work Type:

• Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
• May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

• $90,000 - $170,000
• The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
