IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking an Embryology Lab Assistant to join our growing San Francisco practice! This is a full-time position Sunday - Thursday 5:45am-3:30pm.
Job Purpose: This position aids the entire embryology laboratory department in administrative areas by performing laboratory paperwork functions. Minor technical work includes dish preparations, QC, and inventory duties. This is a responsible position that requires supervision. This position works with instruction or direction from the laboratory director or designate.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities
- Follows procedures for reporting and maintaining patient records.
- Assists with quality control procedures and instrument calibrations and maintenance.
- Participates in laboratory operations and meetings as needed.
- Confirms accuracy of clinical charts prior to release for insurance and physician reviews.
- Responsible for ordering/receiving lab supplies and maintaining inventories.
- Verifies specimen chain of custody during lab procedures.
- Assists embryologists with the general lab duties.
- Maintains inventories and lab supplies.
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the sciences - required
- Previous lab admin experience - preferred
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
