TextMyGov is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) startup that specializes in providing government organizations with smart-texting technology to connect with their communities seamlessly. We are seeking a Client Relations Specialist to create and nurture long-term customer relationships in our Logan, Utah office. You will help set up new customers and train them in our applications. We are looking for an excellent communicator who can grasp and fulfill customers' needs. If you have a background in customer service and knowledge of our industry, we’d like to meet you. You will help us set up, train, and retain our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new customers via phone and online meetings
- Schedule and hold regular meetings with customers to progress them to go live
- Track and manage the setup process of widgets on customers' websites
- Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
- Train customers on how to engage their citizens with the software using flyer templates
- Help create client startup and setup guides
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, senior management) to address clients’ needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience with tech support or client relations; government-industry knowledge is a plus
- Phone experience
- Experience tracking and exceeding relevant KPIs (e.g., customer satisfaction)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Pipedrive)
- Ability to take detailed notes and organize multiple projects
- A customer-oriented attitude and ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent communication skills - with clients and internal departments
- Ability to work well with a team and a problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to research a government agency's website
- Bachelor's degree preferred
