MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

JC Ford is leading in automated equipment and service for the tortilla and tortilla chip industry is looking for talent to join our team.

Mechanical Assemblers must be able to read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required material and follow time frame for each project. They are responsible to set up, operate machines and maintain a clean work area. Must also be comfortable operating an overhead crane as well as driving forklifts.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business language, technical procedures, blueprints and drawings, manuals, and safety procedures and instructions.
• Ability to add or subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Flexible and responsive, with a strong teamwork orientation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed and continuous improvement.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in a cross-functional team.
