Position: Construction Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Experience/Education Requirements:

• 2 years of accounts payable experience (preferred)
• Recent business graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Experience with SAGE 300 (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle accounts payable, including 3-Way Match with purchase orders and packing slips
• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval before payment
• Process check requests, audit credit card bills, and handle invoice matching
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end closings
• Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Environment:

• Hybrid remote position based in Lawrenceville, GA (30043)
• Office-based, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
