Position Summary
Dedicated to the development of our employees and our client relations, we have become worldwide leaders in full-service customs brokerage, supply chain management, worldwide logistics, compliance, port security, foreign freight forwarding, international trade, importing, exporting, and trucking.
As an Import coordinator, your job is to prepare documents according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures for all import and export shipments.
Responsibilities
- Performs data entry functions for entry filing, classifications, tracking
- Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance through U.S. Customs
- Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Ensure accurate and timely client billing
- Assist with verification of customs declaration information and the submission of such to the customs authority
- Performs data entry functions for filling, classifications, tracking
- Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance through US Customs
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Support the operations team
- Perform other tasks assigned by direct manager

Education & Experience
- HS Diploma or greater
- Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of HTS and CFR 19, Customs Regulations and PGA clearances preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS a plus
- Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, with a special focus on Excel
Physical Requirements
- Standing for up to three hours at a time.
- Lifting and carrying a minimum of five pounds.
- Sitting for up to seven hours per day.
- Going up and down stairs approximately two times per day.
- Working on a computer with multiple monitors for seven hours per day
