The ideal candidate will provide nursing leadership for the entire hospital, supervise and mentor nursing and support staff, determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability and patient needs, and ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.
Required Skills include critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications include Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred, Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire, and Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
