Jackson School District is hiring Substitute Teachers!
We have the following opportunities available:
5 days per week
4 days per week
3 days per week
Daily Substitutes-Come in when available.
Pay rate is based on education and certification:
Substitute Certification (60 credits or 30 credits if currently enrolled in school) - $130.00 per day
Substitute Certification with a BA or MA Degree - $150.00 per day
NJ Department of Education Certification (CE, CEAS, Standard) - $170.00 per day
Note: Opportunities may arise for CE/CEAS and Standard certificate holders to do long term Leave of Absence coverage.
Any assignment over 8 weeks will be $225 per day.
All substitute teachers are obligated to work seven (7) hours per day according to the following schedule:
JMHS and JLHS: 7:00 AM - 1:33 PM
Goetz and McAuliffe: 8:10 AM - 2:32 PM
Switlik and Elms: 9:10 AM - 3:20 PM
Holman and Crawford-Rodriguez: 9:10 AM - 3:20 PM
Johnson and Rosenauer: 9:10 AM - 3:20 PM
