Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the Accounts Receivable department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for billing, collections, credit review and reconciling customer balances.
Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees the customer billing process by ensuring invoices are prepared timely and accurately.
Ensures customer payments are received and posted to the customer's account timely, including customer credit card payments.
Reviews outstanding customer balances and follows up on past due amounts including making collection calls as necessary.
Manages relationships with external collections agencies and legal counsel for the collection of past due accounts.
Administers the credit review process for new and existing customers to ensure customer credit worthiness and appropriate credit limits are established.
Review agreements with new customers to ensure all required information is obtained.
Reconciles fuel inventory levels of company owned sites on a daily basis.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
Eight years or more of related experience required including three years of supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary Pay Band - $75000 to $85000 Annually
