We have an immediate opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our team in Chalfont, PA location on our day shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for examining materials for quality and defects for the assembling of Automatic Guided Vehicles.

• Examines materials from suppliers before sending them to production. 
• Approves or rejects incoming parts. Performs inspections. 
• Records pass/fail grade of products. 
• Conduct visual and measurement tests.
• Read blueprints and specifications.   
• Inspects products received in from a vendor. 
• Uses measuring tools such as micrometer, caliper, tape measure, and other means. 
• Returning products for re-work and confirming re-work.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Understands the product as a whole and part. 
• Travels to vendors, as required, to inspect/discuss quality problems/improvements.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma /GED is required.  An Associates of Science degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.
• Minmimum 2 years experience as quality inspector.
• This position requires the following computer skills:  Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.  SyteLine, Epicor or comparable ERP system experience required.
