We are currently seeking an Operations Project Manager to manage all special facilities projects designated towards capital improvements and security needs. This includes managing the full life cycle of JCCMW’s government grant activities, currently generating over $2 million in revenue. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your role will be instrumental in completing vital projects and securing additional funds for future operating needs.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Administer federal, state and local government grants through all stages of the process; from application to closeout.
- Work closely with finance and facilities teams to advise on institutional priorities and ensure quality projects are executed and done in compliance with foundation and government grant guidelines and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the development and program teams to understand and prioritize grant parameters and JCCMW program needs across all areas of JCCMW.
- Manage timely and efficient schedules for tracking and reporting all active grants including the management of government contracting system portals.
- Steward the broader JCCMW team to ensure thorough, accurate and timeline information to support high quality, on-time grant applications, reports and reimbursements.
- Record notices and communicate effectively with grantees about grant extensions, transfers, amendments and timely reimbursements.
- Assist with reports and projects as needed.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 2-5 years working in government grants and finance or relatable experience.
- Ability to design and execute realistic timelines and project management during grant process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across levels of the JCCMW and negotiate effectively with grant partners.
- Ability to analyze financial data and proficiency in spreadsheet and database software applications.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job and include movement within an office environment. The role requires the ability to write by hand and use a keyboard to perform general office functions. Also requires the ability to communicate by speech and hearing continuously. Visual acuity is needed for detailed work, and computer use. The ability to sit for extended periods of time is also a requirement.
