The IT Campus Intern will primarily assist with imaging hardware, answering hotline calls and completing smaller projects as assigned. This entry level position is ideal for a recent or soon-to-be college graduate with strong communication skills and a solid foundation of technology experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment, and be eager to learn and grow through hands on experience with the latest technologies, IT solutions, and senior IT staff. Reporting to the Senior Support Manager, the IT Support Specialist will serve as a key component of a small but mighty team. This position will start full-time (40 hours per week) in March/early April out of our Kansas City, MO office.
Configure and ship intern hardware for upcoming intern season.
Assist with emergency hotline calls, conference room issues as needed.
Perform hardware upgrades as assigned by Support Technicians.
Own general IT help desk tickets and see them through to resolution or escalation.
Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical end users.
Document and maintain up to date policies and procedures.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong people skills with an orientation towards customer service.
Demonstrated continuous learning / growth mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritize projects and multi-task.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
IT Systems / Applications May Include: Microsoft Windows 10 Microsoft O365 MacOS Computer Peripherals; Printers, etc. iOS, and Android mobile platforms Remote Desktop Services / Citrix XenApp.
