On April 1, 2022 JBC launched our Affiliate Marketing division! We believe a brand’s earned media should work seamlessly alongside their affiliate marketing to generate results in the most efficient way possible.
Position Reports to: Affiliate and Executive Speaking Team Leads
Position Overview: Interns execute day-to-day affiliate marketing efforts as assigned by your manager. This includes brainstorming creative ways to work in affiliate, competitive analysis, reporting requests, audits, publisher outreach, newsletter creation, and more.
Requirements:
- We are seeking in-person interns for the New York area.
- Must be available 2-3 days a week, from 9:00-4:45 pm EST.
- This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities:
- Media monitoring - very first thing in the morning
- Intern will work closely with the other interns to monitor daily press outlets, including WWD, Glossy BOF
- Update ES tracker with feedback
- Monitor TBD events for updated information
- Assist the Executive Speaking team with conference awards tracking
- Create Google Docs of upcoming award applications
- Research vetting award/conference opportunities
- Provide overall support/admin help across the Executive Speaking division
- Assist the team with brand/founder audits
- Familiarity with MuckRack and RocketReach is a plus
- Create and maintain comprehensive affiliate outlet lists
- Brainstorming new, creative affiliate placements and brand-building opportunities for clients
- Track affiliate placements for all affiliate clients
- Assist with pulling performance reports and analyzing data to find trends and where we can improve
- Assist the team with trend forecasting, competitor analysis, and publisher outreach
- Affiliate clipping & organizing via Canva, Google Drive & Dropbox
- Affiliate audits and discovery
- Assist with editing affiliate documents (case studies. reporting, agendas)
- Writing pitches/pitching exercises
- Final Presentation based on a client of your choosing
About You:
- Enthusiastic about all things marketing, specifically affiliate marketing!
- Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
- A people person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships, with proven experience in supportive team management
- Familiarity with Canva, and Google Workspace is a plusA
