About the Job:
Interns execute day-to-day public relations efforts as assigned by managers and assistants. This includes brainstorming creative pitch angles, pitching securing product placements, building and maintaining media lists, and more.
Position Reports to: PR Coordinator and Associate Manager

Requirements:
- We are seeking in-person interns for the New York area.
- Must be available 2-3 days a week, from 9:30 - 4:45 pm EST.
- This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive media lists
- Brainstorming new, creative pitches and brand-building opportunities for clients
- Track media placements for all clients
- Assist the team with trend forecasting, competitor media audits, and press hit clips
- Familiarity with Photoshop, MuckRack, and Google Workspace is a plus
- Work with Office Manager and Senior team to determine intern needs and to-dos
- Work closely with your respective division on ongoing tasks, projects and long-term goals
- Final Presentation based on a client of your choosing
About You:
- Enthusiastic about all things PR and Media Relations
- Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
- A people person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships, with proven experience in supportive team management
- Ability to both balance many priorities and act resourcefully, all while maintaining a positive

Time Commitment:
- Overall program duration is based on the semester length
- Minimum of 2-3 full days per week at max 19.5 hours without any class interruption
- Hours are 9:30 - 4:45 pm EST
Benefits:
- 1-hour lunch breaks
- $16.50 per hour.
