What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Shift Leader - FT Year Round position at Jersey Mike's Subs?
Jersey Mike's Subs of Southern Shores is now hiring a team member with ambition to work towards becoming a shift leader now and potentially move into a management position within our Jersey Mike's family. Due to the necessary responsibility of using a deli slicer, this position is only available to candidates that are 18 years or older (labor laws requirement). We are seeking a candidate looking for a Full-Time position and is available for year-round employment. Prior experience on a flattop grill and a deli slicer are a definite plus, but not a requirement. Opportunity for quick advancement within a growing company. We are seeking someone who is personable, dependable, can work flexible hours, and has reliable transportation. Initial compensation will be based upon relevant work experience.
The primary requirement of a Jersey Mike's Shift Leader is commitment to company goals. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high quality standards
- Customer service that is noticeably friendlier than that of other restaurants
- Running Shifts
- Prep / Identification of Needs
- Training Role
- Cash Control
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
