About The Role
Jimerson Birr is seeking an enthusiastic, persuasive, and client-focused Client Onboarding Manager to lead our client onboarding team. This highly visible position is responsible for turning inbound leads into loyal clients by owning the intake-to-engagement experience.

Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales Leadership
- Serve as the first line of influence for prospective clients—guiding them from inquiry to engagement with confidence and care.
- Own the client qualification process, evaluating fit and aligning leads with the right attorney and service team.
- Identify conversion opportunities, overcome objections, and promote firm value with compelling, warm messaging.
- Lead engagement conversations, facilitate retainer execution, and help prospects become ready, retained clients.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of Client Onboarding Specialists who convert leads and create standout first impressions.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales and service KPIs—instilling a competitive, collaborative environment.
- Conduct role plays, 1:1 coaching, and weekly team meetings to reinforce best practices and refine performance.
- Build and refine onboarding workflows to improve speed, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Leverage technology (Litify, Salesforce, phone systems) to track progress, surface insights, and scale success.
- Ensure CRM accuracy and manage real-time reporting dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead front-of-house operations to deliver best-in-class hospitality and responsiveness.
- Ensure intake, orientation, and engagement processes are aligned with firm brand and service standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador—upholding the tone, pace, and professionalism Jimerson Birr is known for.
- Monitor conversion metrics, onboarding velocity, and team performance; report outcomes to firm leadership.
- Develop budgets and forecasts that support revenue targets and strategic hiring plans.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Must-Haves
- 5 years of experience in an inside sales, client services, or onboarding leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a high-performing team (5 direct reports).
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills—verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to data entry, compliance, and workflow execution.
- Prior experience in a legal, professional services, call center, or customer success environment.
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs (Salesforce preferred), intake tools, and productivity suites.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Communications, or related field.
- Experience with Litify or other legal practice management platforms.
