Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Perform basic administrative duties such as organizing and filing legal documents to support intake and litigation paralegals.
- Paralegal Assistance: Provide coverage for paralegal duties during staff absences.
- Case Filing: Assist with the filing of substitutions of plaintiff in active cases.
- Judgment Processing: Help obtain judgment liens on existing judgments.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Interest in legal processes, collections, and paralegal functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Previous internship or experience in a legal, paralegal, or collections environment is a plus, but not required.
