What this job involves - JLL has an exceptional opportunity for a Facilities Manager to support our client in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage client requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction.
What is your day to day?
Support the Regional Manager in the implementation of all full-service components of first-class facilities management, specifically addressing the client scope of work per the contract.
Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Regional Facility Manager, Lead Engineer, and the client.
Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client and oversee the development and management of the expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative.
Effectively lead, manage, support, and assist in training the facility team.
Develop and implement innovative programs,processes, and proceduresthat reduce short and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.
Provide support in implementing short and long-term projects for the client project based on participating addendum and contract.
Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis. Effectively manage the annual budget, baseline adjustments, and finance components related to specific client portfolios.
Assist with developing and implementing the annual management plan and budget adjustments for the buildings.
Work Schedule
The schedule is Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. with on-call required. Overtime is needed for emergency situations and special facility events.
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience in Facilities Management or Building Operations.
Three years of experience in a supervision, budgeting, vendor management, operations, and/or maintenance.
Strong budget skills and experience
Knowledge in maintaining, operating, and repairing all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds.
Superior customer service, team player who builds and maintains relationships.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
Effective use of technology and tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Computerized Management Maintenance Systems (CMMS) experience (Corrigo is a plus)
