Relocation Project Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relocation Project Manager to join our commercial real estate company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the relocation process for our clients. This is a dynamic role that requires meticulous planning, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their relocation needs, goals, and objectives.
Develop and execute comprehensive relocation project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
Plan and manage successfully relocations up to 1,000 people
Perform data input into the CAFM system to maintain occupancy information
Coordinate and manage all stages of the relocation process, from initial planning to post-move evaluation.
Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure a seamless relocation experience.
Conduct site visits to evaluate existing facilities and identify potential issues or opportunities.
Coordinate logistics, such as space planning, furniture procurement, IT infrastructure setup, and equipment installations.
Manage and track the progress of multiple relocation projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Provide regular communication and updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve any challenges or issues that may arise during the relocation process.
Conduct post-move evaluations to assess the success of the relocation and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial real estate or related industries.
Strong knowledge of relocation best practices, including space planning, furniture procurement, and IT infrastructure setup.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience in managing large-scale, complex relocation projects.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Familiarity with commercial real estate contracts and lease agreements.
Experience working with architects, contractors, and interior designers.
