Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution:
- Independently manage and execute mid to large-size real estate transactions, including leases, sales, renewals, and disposals, with a high level of proficiency and knowledge.
- Foster and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and aligning them with the organization's real estate strategy.
- Utilize market knowledge and negotiation skills to achieve favorable economic and flexible lease terms for the client.
- Gather market data, review market reports, and stay updated on industry trends to provide valuable insights to the client.
- Liaise with real estate broker partners nationwide to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
- Oversee site selection and evaluation processes, conducting site tours and evaluating prospective properties.
- Create, review, and manage requests for proposals (RFPs), letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other transaction-related documents.
- Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on transaction-related documents and review them with legal and risk departments.
- Develop, implement, streamline, and improve client and JLL transaction processes to ensure flawless execution.
- Collaborate with other JLL offices to monitor the progress of transactions and projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably with a focus on non-profit organizations.
- Strong negotiating skills and proven ability to secure favorable lease terms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, and planning skills.
- Proficiency in market research, analysis, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with legal and risk management requirements related to real estate transactions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and virtual tools for remote collaboration.
