Direct Support Professional
$17.00/hour First shift, Monday-Friday: No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays and No On-Call hours.
A new hire will qualify for a $1,000 sign on bonus
Sign on bonus paid out as follows:
$100.00 paid as of the hire date;
$150.00 paid once the employee has successfully completed 30 days of employment;
$750.00 paid once the employee has successfully completed 90 days of employment.
Rehired employees who worked for JM Murray/ESTI in the past must have been separated from the company for at least two years from their last separation date in order to be eligible for a sign on bonus.

Successful candidates will provide direct services to consumers through the implementation of service and support plans, and other means as established by the planning team; addressing habilitation, therapeutic, and behavioral needs. Candidate would perform necessary direct support duties to ensure consumer safety, health, hygiene, and development. Other duties include, but not limited to, support with dining, personal care, assistance entering and exiting buses/company vehicles, driving consumers to activities, and documentation.
Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent; strong communication skills; sound decision-making & judgment; valid NYS driver’s license & reliable, insured vehicle. Clearance required through the NYS Justice Center (OPWDD/OMH criminal background check), Office of People with Developmental Disabilities, and NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.
