Direct Support Professional - Day Services
Mozaic is looking for dedicated Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, or Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities during daytime hours in non-residential settings.
Our goal is to facilitate community integration, skill development, and promote independence. Direct Support Professionals at Mozaic are instrumental in fostering self-esteem and providing consistent, positive support, encouragement, and respect for the rights of individuals in both habilitation settings and the community.
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties :
- These caregivers help individuals in upholding safe and healthy lifestyles within our community
- Assist with transportation, going to appointments, and daily living activities
- Follow guidelines, medications, and care plans accurately
- Collaborate with other members of the support team, including families, healthcare professionals, and case managers, to ensure the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals with disabilities
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals, and advocate for their rights and needs
Direct Support Professional Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field
- Valid Driver's License
Direct Support Professional Hours :
Monday - Friday, hours vary with occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Direct Support Professional Pay Rate : $16.75 - $17.50 / hr., based on experience
