Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, Damage Investigator to conduct on-site investigations of underground and aerial cable plant damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct on-site investigations of cable plant damages
- Develop professional relationships with clients, contractors, and personnel
- Understand and utilize State One Call Laws and Statutes, excavator requirements, and NESC standards
- Collect and process investigation materials using proprietary software
- Assist Claims Recovery team with post-investigation tasks
- Maintain a working knowledge of the entire claims process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid driver's license and current insurance
- Pass a complete background check and drug test
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
- Damage Investigation experience a plus
- Knowledge of cable industry and/or utility locate industry a plus
- Flexible work schedule
